Abstract:

Primary aldosteronism (PA) and obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) are both commonforms of secondary hypertension, which can cause damage to multiple target organs throughout the body and are very importantrisk factors for cardiovascular disease. In recent years, many studies have found that the prevalence of OSAHS in PA patientsis relatively high, and it is believed that there may be a bidirectional relationship between the two. This article summarizes thepossible interactions and mechanisms between PA and OSAHS by reviewing relevant literature, in order to provide new ideas forthe clinical diagnosis and treatment of PA and OSAHS patients.
