摘要:
铁死亡是一种新近发现的铁依赖性非凋亡程序性细胞死亡,其特征是铁依赖性活性氧积累和质膜多不饱和脂肪酸的脂质过氧化。近期研究显示,衰老过程中铁可在多个器官中积累,进而加重组织氧化损伤及脏器功能损伤。本文主要总结了铁死亡与神经退行性疾病、心血管疾病、慢性阻塞性肺疾病、糖尿病等年龄相关性疾病(ARDs)的关系,并发现干预铁死亡通路可有效抑制ARDs疾病进展,这可能为铁死亡作为ARDs的潜在治疗靶点提供一定参考。
Abstract:
【Abstract】 Ferroptosis is a newly discovered iron-dependent non-apoptotic programmed cell death characterized by irondependent accumulation of reactive oxygen species and lipid peroxidation of plasma membrane polyunsaturated fatty acids. It wasrecently reported that iron accumulated in multiple organs during aging, leading to tissue oxidative damage and organ dysfunction. Thisarticle mainly summarizes the relationship between ferroptosis and age-related diseases (ARDs) such as neurodegenerative diseases,cardiovascular diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, and finds that intervention in ferroptosis pathway can effectivelyinhibit the progression of ARDs, which may provide some reference for ferroptosis as a potential therapeutic target for ARDs.
